"crazy old mean old nasty coon"

you could use that phrase a lot for the Republicans, again critical for plot description and not offensive in context

Amazing. That book taught me the word "jugular"!

i read this book one saturday night when i was 7 and i had a babysitter and i finished the book and promptly started crying and cried so long and so hard that the babysitter had to call my parents and get them to come home. for reals. also: "summer of the monkeys" !!! so good!
