Presumably, if they're running a Mountain Goats review that focuses on John's voice and says he should stop singing.
Seriously? Seriously. Seriously? Seriously!
Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. I stood idly by when they gave a bad review to Harold and Kumar, but that was silly. This hurts my heart. Non fans should not be allowed to review acquired tastes loved by many. This is like a kid who just had his first sip of beer being hired to review that beer for Beer Magazine, except different because that would be awesome. And the metaphor isn't quite right.
Wait. I thought you were back to working again. This has that crazy-rambling-unemployed voice that the nation fell in love with last week.

If non-fans werent allowed to review acquired tastes, wouldnt they all be more or less raves, or at the very least a protracted in-joke by people obsessed with the music, which is best left safely corralled within the four corners of a fanzine...if people even still make those. But I get it- we all get mad when something we love gets panned, especially by reviewers/publications that we respect.
