UPDATE: Are you aware that it costs A LOT OF MONEY to "give" your miles away? I wasn't until a lovely person named Sarah wrote to say she has the exact number of miles I need. Unfortunately, you can only receive 15k miles per year as a gift, and I needed more than that, and it costs a lot. So nevermind on the whole thing.
(Crazy abandoned scheme after the jump, though I'm not even sure why I'm not just deleting the whole thing.)(I've never had advertising or wishlists on this site, but I do use it as my personal Craig's List from time to time.)
Here's the deal: I am going to be a bridesmaid in a dear friend's wedding in Seattle in June. As is my way, I waited until now to look at tickets, and they're absolutely insane for the weekend I have to be out there (like twice as much as I've ever paid for any ticket ever insane. Apparently the airlines are onto the whole June weekend wedding thing and price their tickets accordingly.) I have some American miles from business trips but I need a lot more to get a ticket for that weekend, so:
1. Does anyone have American miles lying around that they don't think they will use that they want to sell me (I'll buy them, just not at the price Americian is selling them for - we can negotiate) OR
2. Does anyone have American miles but NEED Delta miles and we could do a trade (I have 15k Delta miles that I probably won't use.)
If so, email me with "miles" in the subject line, and thank you!
You did look at Jetblue, right?

I did look at jetblue. The one way amount was more than I've paid for a round trip anywhere.
