The podcast (or whatever) of last week's Ritalin Reading is up on Gabe's site. As he points out, it is 64 minutes long. I haven't heard the part yet where I suck helium from an "it's a girl!" balloon and recite the last line of "Daddy" by Sylvia Plath, but I hope it's as funny on the podcast as it was in my head (and funnier than it was live.) The readers are, in order:
Max Silvestri
Emily Gould
Ben Greenman
Jon Friedman
Heather Lawless
Darci Ratliff and Matt Tobey
Todd Levin
Thank you Jon Friedman for recording it and putting it online! We're going to have a monthly podcast once we figure out what podcasting actually is. Also, don't worry if you don't get the visual jokes -- it will be just like actually being there!
I just want to point out that I had a cough drop in my mouth and do not have some sort of weird speech impediment. I don't know why I felt that was necessary to explain, but I also don't know a lot of other things, and so by comparison, am not really concerned about my lack of answers. Wait, what? Bye bye!

just listened to the podcast and everyone seems to have some odd lisp. perhaps this is due to the poor mic technology associated with podcasts?
because even more funny to me than the content is imagining you all drooling all over yourselves with bibs on.
or maybe you were all just trashed.

Speaking for myself, I've always had a lisp, but I think everyone else was just trashed.
