Today's guest post on the Jane Magazine blog: What's Your Movie Taste Demographic? (Inspired by Cinetrix and an LA Times article, I compared the top ten most Netflixed movies in each NYC borough.) I didn't put this in the post, but I didn't link to the movies, for two reasons:
1. I am very busy today.
2. I think the movie titles, without their contexts, make each list sort of a neat little revealing found poem about each borough. And I love that kind of sh*t.
Oh, you simply must watch The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. (The 70's original with Walter Matthau, not the remake from the 90's.)
You simply must.

Oh my god, see Downtown 81! You'd love it. I did this exercise myself and found that I am equally well suited to living in Brooklyn and Manhattan, but should probably never live anyplace else. Phew.
