"You're a Mitchum Man!"
How fucking lazy did that copywriter/producer/account manager have to be to go with that campaign! I mean, I know consumers like comfy, safe, usually false stereotypes (See Sex and the City) but that one went stale 10 years ago. Men and women are so much more complicated than that. I'm totally boycotting that brand. (Or, um, continuing to boycott it.)
(See, I'm an equal-opportunity gender stereotype hater. And not to get all serious or anything, I've never met a guy in my life who truly feared commitment.)
